If you are a Thai foodie and you lost your job due to the pandemic, then this news will change your life. Café Isan is a Thai street food and tea bar restaurant. They are looking for passionate and thai food lovers who can join their team. Café Isan now offers micro franchise options in Dubai. In other words, you can now apply to be a franchise owner with just 200 AED. Co Founder Chef New and the team will support all the carts with a centralized kitchen, including ingredients and sauces. This not only ensures the consistency but also that the safety measures are followed.
This includes a fully kitted out food cart that is ready to operate. In addition, the successful applicant needs no previous experience as Chef new will train them. Moreover, they also get to compete in the annual competition where the more performing food car wins a trip to Thailand’s Isan region.
Co-founder Lisa Knight said, “We’re looking for passionate people with drive, ambition a solid work ethic and a little business acumen – but most of all, we want to help some of our most entrepreneurial customers who first and foremost, love Thai food, and secondly, have perhaps fallen on tough times as a result of the pandemic. Those with space, such as retail site owners – where one of our carts might fit are asked to get in touch, as we’d love to place carts where they are needed, and even help bring new customers to some different places across Dubai.”
The JLT Cluster B-based outlet will also waive upfront license fees, covering the cost of the actual cart/kiosk, refrigeration, equipment, POS system, training with Chef New, branded packaging, hygiene and safety certifications, fire extinguishers and blankets (where required), packaging and even initial food/ingredient costs. In addition, the scheme really enables people to get started with their own cart by covering Dubai municipality permits, public liability and workmen’s insurance, legal and accounting fees.
