Christian Lee is the new CEO of Flame Broiler and Daniel Lee is the new chief marketing officer and chief technology officer. The brothers have a wealth of experience carrying out strong growth strategies to reflect the brand’s Korean-American roots. Young Lee, the founder of Flame Broiler, and his sons, all share the fundamental belief that providing readily available, wholesome food will enable people to live their lives as intended.
Young created the brand with the dream of working with his sons. Since their younger days, they both showed an inclination toward the business by beginning as dishwashers and ultimately becoming experts in every job in the restaurant. The two took over a Flame Broiler franchise and ran the firm for four years, gaining invaluable expertise in managing a flourishing restaurant. They have spent more than ten years becoming familiar with the nuances of the industry, from people and culture to technology and on-the-ground operations.
Even during the pandemic the focused their efforts especially on fortifying the restaurant support center. They opted not to let any of its workers go without pay or be placed on leave. Instead, they concentrated on building a new director’s team and attaining a 94% average employee retention rate in order to enhance the support center team.
David Lee, the youngest Lee sibling, just joined his brothers and sisters. They aim for the brand’s modernization and digitization, as well as for fostering loyalty and using data going forward.
Christian stated: “We believe Flame Broiler has endless potential and we’ve only scratched the surface on what we can do. The heart of our mission is our belief in the power of food to impact the world in a positive way. Flame Broiler is announcing the release of its brand-new Flame Broiler App as the latest development in its use of technology to provide individualized experiences for its clients under the direction of Christian and Daniel.
“We have almost three decades of history with an incredibly loyal base of customers,” Daniel explains. The launch of the Flame Broiler App is another powerful tool for our loyal fans to order wherever and whenever they want, and to share our healthy food with more people.”
Together with their father, the boys are reimagining the company’s future. By utilizing both corporate facilities and franchisees, they are launching the brand in novel formats like as drive-thrus and takeout-only shops. Since the beginning of the company’s existence, franchising has been essential to their expansion, and the Lee family has always been passionate about giving members of the community the chance to open their own businesses.
