The national canine daycare chain Dogtopia is waging its tail in satisfaction as it commemorates its 20th birthday and a Guinness World Records accreditation.
The chain won the prize for having uploaded the most Instagram photographs of dogs sitting in a single hour. The dog daycare organized its network of pet owners across the United States and Canada to submit pictures of their Dogtopia pup to Instagram in order to break the record.
Along with these outstanding accomplishments, Dogtopia of Uptown Phoenix, the franchise’s 200th daycare, is about to open in Phoenix, Arizona, in the immediate vicinity of the corporate office.
Dogtopia, a pioneer and innovation in the pet services sector since its founding in 2002, helps all dogs live long, healthy, and happy lives by offering services that promote canine wellness in an all-encompassing way.
“We are indebted to our loyal franchise partners, pet parents and their furry children for their loyalty leading up to these incredible achievements. Their dedication is what sets Dogtopia apart in the bustling pet industry,” said Neil Gill, CEO of Dogtopia. “After 20 years in business, we are growing faster than ever, so it feels like just the beginning with many more amazing years ahead to provide pet parents with a safe and trusted daycare that always has the health, wellness and best interest of dogs in mind.”
All daycares participated in special dog-friendly events and held dog-safe birthday cake-flavored bubble parties during open play to commemorate the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

With the assistance of Dogtopia’s devoted franchise partners, the Dogtopia Foundation also surpassed the sponsorship of 200 service dogs for veterans just in time for National Service Dog Month in September.
Since the Foundation increased its efforts for this cause, more than 100 of those dogs have been sponsored, with several daycares sponsoring their sixth and seventh dogs. Other recent initiatives include support for a Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine study on service dogs for veterans, which was published this summer, and a partnership with Painting with a Twist, through which 50% of proceeds from Paint Your Pet events will be donated to the Foundation.
