VaVia, a tech-forward and customer-service focused construction industry partner, enters Tampa area seeking to become go-to solution for convenient and reliable dumpster rental for construction needs
TAMPA BAY, FL – March 30, 2023 – VaVia, the fastest growing brand in dumpster rental services, has entered the Tampa-area market. Through delivering unparalleled customer service, technology integration, nimble trucks and containers, and its industry-leading reliability, VaVia has immediately resonated amongst contractors and those within residential construction. Since its founding in 2019, the company can now be found in 19 markets in seven states.
The Tampa franchise is owned by Greg Walters, who was a private equity professional before becoming an entrepreneur. Walters recognized that VaVia’s value proposition for the construction industry was unmatched, and a world-class city such as Tampa would immediately benefit from its services and unique customer-friendly approach.
“I am so excited for the opportunity to service Tampa by bringing a company with VaVia’s track record of success to the market,” said Greg Walters, owner of VaVia Tampa. “Tampa is one of the fastest growing cities in the country thanks to its exceptional quality of life and surplus of jobs. This has led to new construction and renovation to meet the demand to live in the Bay area. We will benefit builders and contractors immediately with our offerings, reliability, and standards of service.”
Added Walters, “We’re committed to growing exponentially along with the market, and I am building out a team of committed professionals who will aim to become the most trusted partners to those working in construction in the Tampa area.”
Walters has hired Rolando Peralta as General Manager of VaVia Tampa. Peralta previously served as a project manager for Leola Construction, a Tampa based builder.
VaVia will be based at 11838 US Highway 41 South in Gibsonton, providing it strategic access across Hillsborough County. The company is starting with 28 available dumpsters, and Walters has growth plans to have approximately 100 available to customers by the end of the year.
It differentiates itself with 10-yard and 15-yard containers that are able to fit into driveways and other tight areas in construction zones. Its containers feature low-height walls, so it is easier to load debris and evaluate how much space is left within it.
VaVia aims to deliver all dumpsters same day or next day, and they can be ordered by phone or simply using its technology to request a drop-off or pick-up. The company was founded in Nashville by experienced disposal and recycling industry veteran Phillip Nappi who runs the business with another industry veteran, VaVia’s CEO, Tim Wells, who saw the need for more nimble trucks and containers combined with a higher level of customer service and technology integration to make the process as efficient and reliable as possible.
“Greg will be an exceptional owner and operator for VaVia in a truly exciting market in Tampa,” said Nappi, President of VaVia. “We find quickly in new markets that once people try VaVia and experience how we differentiate ourselves with reliability, flexibility and service, they become life-long customers. We’re looking forward to seeing Greg and VaVia build lasting relationships that aid in the growth of Tampa and its surrounding areas.”
