HOA Brands appoints a new chief development officer

In an effort to spur speedy expansion and support growth, Hooters and Hoots Wings franchisor and operator HOA Brands recently named Michael Arrowsmith as the new chief development officer.

Michael will be in charge of the two brands’ domestic and worldwide expansion. He has 25 years of expertise building businesses and devising strategies that encourage exceptional growth. His previous franchise experience includes Captain D’s, Denny’s, Diedrich Coffee, and Checkers & Rally’s, where he has held executive positions.

Michael’s new responsibilities include managing development services including building design and construction, finding new real estate sites, and recruiting franchisees.

“Returning to the restaurant industry and working for a global food service brand has been a goal of mine,” said Michael. “By joining the HOA Brands team, I’m able to flex my skills and ramp up unit growth for our concepts as well as work with our leadership team, motivate multi-unit operators, and others who are interested in expanding these concepts both domestically and internationally. We are driving the HOA Brands forward by partnering with the right franchisees.”

Michael will also contribute his financial expertise to his new position on the HOA senior leadership team, highlighting why Hooters and Hoots are excellent investments for potential franchisees.
