I am Döner (website link) promises to deliver Award-Winning Berlin Kebabs – like no other kebab we know! There’s no grease or fatty meat in their list of kebabs, which draw in big crowds on a daily basis. And, wait for it, they have vegan options as well, and they look delicious nevertheless. Now, they are coming to UAE, starting with Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The news has it that a partnership with Dash Hospitality Group, the company behind the franchise of Coffee Planet and Goi Rolls in the UAE, will see the first international openings for I Am Döner. The first site is due to open by the end of 2021 in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis.

There is nothing usual about I am Döner. From their little takeaway in Headingley, they set out to start a doner revolution, making the doner more than a guilty pleasure! They successfully launched a kickstarter campaign in 2018 to open their second takeaway shop on Station Parade in Harrogate (UK).
They use a total of 120 ingredients in the six kebabs they make. On top of that, they have ten items of salad, feta cheese, homemade bread, homemade sauces and the best meats.
I am Doner promises not to use any plastic packaging, becoming one of the first takeaways in the UK. All of their packaging is plastic free, helping to preserve our oceans and environments. Their work in this area got them a mention in parliament! Hope that promise spills over to their franchisees as well.
