Spanning an impressive 7,000 sq. ft., the store’s design was entrusted to renowned interior designer Pallavi Dean, recipient of numerous prestigious accolades. Drawing inspiration from Jaipur’s architectural charm, the store interiors exude a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. This significant move reinforces Jaipur Rugs’ commitment to expanding its presence globally and bringing its exquisite handmade rugs to discerning customers in the Middle East, while paying homage to the brand’s roots in the enchanting city of Jaipur.
“I am thrilled to announce Jaipur Rugs’ entry into the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region, marking an exciting new chapter for our company,” Yogesh Chaudhary, director, Jaipur Rugs said.
“With a group turnover of Rs 920 crore in the last financial year, we have experienced remarkable growth over the years and are now focusing on expanding our presence further. In addition to the MEA region, we have set our sights on opening new stores in India, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region, he added.
Jaipur Rugs, a brand founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary, uplifts more than 40,000 artisans, predominantly women, in 600 rural Indian villages. This family business acts as a platform for these talented individuals to exhibit their skills. With 7000 looms and a presence in over 90 countries, Jaipur Rugs connects rural craftsmanship to a global customer base. The company’s focus is on merging traditional craft with a contemporary outlook, collaborating with skilled artisans to create unique works of art. In recent years, they have expanded their reach, opening stores in Mumbai, Milan, and Bengaluru.
