1. How did you enter in the franchise business?

Eggspectation first outlet was launched in Montreal in 1993. The innovative concept and high-quality food & service helped us make the favorite for breakfast restaurants.

However, the thought of franchise was pushed by the love and trust in our brand from the other countries.

2. Where and how did the idea of your concept come from?

The Eggspectation concept was created by Eggspectation Group. We started out with just a few key thoughts and a passion for innovation and memorable experiences. This new level of innovation has led us to today’s satisfying and diverse Eggspectation menu.

3. What inspired the brand name?

The brand name was inspired by the ‘Love for breakfast, which is naturally from the eggs’.

Likewise, our slogan is “Grab the day by the Eggs”

4. What is the story behind the brand’s logo?

Our brand logo defines the extensity that our guest could expect while having an experience at our restaurants. The logo truly meets the “Eggspectation” of guests as our diverse menu has something for everyone.

5. What makes your brand different from your competitors?

At Eggspectation, we’re committed to innovation and achievement.

Eggspectation Restaurants delivers a relaxed and convivial atmosphere with fair and friendly pricing.  Each location is supported by a restaurant team wanting to provide only the best experience for their customer-friends. Because they care about enhancing the experience and building relationships. We promise to deliver an engaging experience. Therefore driven by a desire to satisfy every customer-friend with its natural, healthy, and environmentally concerned menu.  In addition to the relaxing and refreshing contemporary urban décor.

Surpassing your “Eggspectations” is what inspires us to be extraordinary. Hence we strive to give our guests the best possible food quality and service while maintaining a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Therefore this continuous quality of service has kept us distinctive from competitors.

6. What are the essential qualities that you look for in a franchisee?

We look for a right candidate with required capital resources, knowledge and previous experience in franchise/food industry.

Generally, we are seeking candidates that fit the following criteria:

  • Capital
  • Business experience
  • Common value system

7. How long does it take, in an average, for your franchisee to realize their investment?

It varies, however, on average it takes 1.5 to 2 Years.

8. What was the major challenge you faced in your career, and how did you overcome it?

Keeping up the quality of service along with innovation is a continuous process. We are glad to keep the innovation in our brand throughout.

Since beginning, our goal was to maintain the highest possible standards of food quality and service in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, with family or friends, our wish is to make our guests visit an exceptional experience.

Therefore, for the success we only take two things seriously: our food and service!

9. What is your best achievement?

Even after 25 years, we are thrilled to celebrate our customer-friendly culture with its focus on service.

10. How does your business day start?

Our business day starts as “Eggcellent”.

At Eggspectation, we take care of our staff as much we take care of our guests. As a result the working environment is very caring & friendly.

Since being a breakfast restaurant, our day starts early and we have two shifts of staff for each day.

11. What was your best moment throughout your franchise career?

The number of franchise inquiries we are receiving continually is the best feeling to realize the success of our brand.

We are also proud to be participating in different franchise exhibitions considering the suitability. It’s a great feeling to recognition in international franchise platform.

12. Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years?

We have 29 operating outlets in different territories of the world and we’re not done yet!

The objective is to open one in a neighborhood near you.

13. Any tips you want to impart to our readers who want to be in the franchise industry?

Franchise business is a very sensitive industry, it takes lot of sense and proper business plan to lead the brand. So I would say always focus on improving the skills and always aim the quality & excellence in all the services which are related from you.
