1. How did you enter the franchise business?

When I first ventured in the Food & Beverage business back in 2010-2011, seed funding and angel funding was still not a part of growth story, and a bootstrapped brand wanted to raise funds along with expanding the business, and that’s when franchising was started.

In the last decade apart from being able to enhance internal brands to more than 300 franchises, co-founded Franchise Brigade – which is into franchise consulting and franchise appointment.

6.How long does it take, in an average, for your franchisee to realize their investment?

Well, this depends on brand, the industry and how much investment is involved, we have brands ranging from ROI 6-8 months since operation to 24-30 months.

7. What was the major challenge you faced in your career and how did you overcome it?

Apart from getting people to understand that franchising is not a 100% fool proof business model, covid has been a major impact, nevertheless we did have our share our issues, but we firmly believe that the brands which are deep rooted would sail through like we did.

7.1 What is your best achievement?

Having a strong team, working pan India / Global and working with lot of brands ranging from just started to international and well acclaimed, we have had our fair share of success and I would say that’s the steppingstone towards the best achievement yet.

8. How does your business day start?

Business day usually starts with meeting a lot of enthusiastic to be entrepreneurs and consulting them on what can be done and how it can be done.

9. What was your best moment throughout your franchise career?

Understanding that everyone has a spark to do something of their own and guiding them towards the same has always been the spark.

10. Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years?

Currently we operate majorly in India, and very few places across the globe, but we would be across the globe with all our services and expertise we give in India today in the next coming years.

11. Any tips you want to impart to our readers who want to be in the franchise industry?

To Brand Owners: If you have a strong and neat business idea, no matter who says what go for it, you will get what you desire, trust your instincts its mostly right.
