1.How did you enter in the franchise business?

In fact, it is simply evidence of the strengths of franchising that led me to adopt this strategy. Creating a franchise has been a winning concept, which ensures the same level of performance as that recorded by the pilot agency. 2. Where and how did the idea of your concept come from?

All started by creating in 1980, the “PANO” workshop in Lormont in the Bordeaux area. A small structure, with a simple, efficient, and fast service.  The market of signage and visual communication is in perpetual development, it becomes vital for any company to use the tools of this sector to exist. The fact of conceiving a versatile and quality structure designed to easily meet the expectations of companies has allowed after 9 years to implement the PANO concept of today. A concept in continuous improvement whose objective is to meet ever more the evolving expectations of customers. In 1989, duplicating this concept seemed obvious to me. Forced to realize that autonomy is a factor of success, I decided to launch the PANO concept by building a network of signage experts through the licensing of the PANO brand. The deployment of our network, the diversification of our business lines and the identification of growth relays offer our dealers genuine professional recognition and the strength of a winning group.

3. What inspired the brand name?

The market being what it was in 1980, our first market was to offer signage. Then, the more concise and easier to remember a brand name is, the easier it is to build brand awareness. That’s why we chose four letters to determine our name, PANO.

4. What is the story behind the brand’s logo?

The logo recalls above all the name of our brand. The white writing surrounded by a bright red allows our signs and our brand to be visible from afar. Today it has become a powerful tool in our network allowing us to easily increase our notoriety and establish our reputation throughout the world.

5. What makes your brand different from your competitors?

Above all, we are a network on a human scale, so that our collaborators, whether they are franchisees, suppliers or partners, can feel integrated into the PANO sphere on a daily basis.

In addition, we offer support from the very beginning of the project to acquire a PANO agency, a 4-week diploma course and follow-up, while offering them total autonomy.We have developed a concept that is built in 12 steps, allowing a quick realization of our franchisees’ projects.

Opening an agency takes on average less than 3 months on average, including training, delivery and installation of the agency. It all depends on the project of the person concerned and his willingness to realize his project quickly. We are here to make this will come true.

8.Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years?

We continue to develop our network around the world. Currently our goal is to count 1000 agencies on the 5 continents.
