Sandwich W Noss was founded in 2015, revolutionizing the classic Lebanese sandwich with their own original flavour. Read through to know more about the man behind Sandwich W Noss’s success. Mr Rony Abou Saab, CEO of Sandwich W Noss shares his experiences as a franchisor.
It was part of the expansion strategy for Sandwich W Noss and after studying several models, the franchise model was chosen as the best one to follow.
Sandwich W Noss was conceived with the simple goal of bringing back the authentic Lebanese flavour in an original snack experience. The twist: when one sandwich is too little and two sandwiches are too much, we created the ideal size: a sandwich and a half.
The name has a double meaning. The first meaning is related to the sandwich size which means “one and a half”’ while the second part “Wnoss” is used in Lebanon in many situations as an affirming word.
We wanted to keep it authentic, that’s why we went with the Arabic font and calligraphy.
We offer the biggest sandwich in the market, plus we provide free drinks for all our customers.
We look at their experience and background.
It takes an average of 2.5 years to realise their investment.
Moving from the nightlife business to the QSR business was a major challenge especially that this business was all about value and scale, unlike the nightlife one.
Stretching the boundaries and breaking the rules helped me be where I am today. I think where I am today is my biggest strategic achievement.
I normally start my day with Nescafe, reviewing emails, phone calls and I follow up on my lists.
The journey of meeting people (from employees to suppliers..) and selecting the right partners (I would not call them franchisees)
I would like to see the franchise successful locally and internationally.
