Meet Fatimaalzahraa Al Seiari, CEO & Founder – Glittair Cosmetics, one such fast growing brand that started from the search for the perfect shade of lipstick and lashes. 1.How did you enter the franchise business?

In 2020 once I saw my business is growing I decided to start putting my business to be franchise to expand my brand.

2. Where and how did the idea of your concept come from?

The idea started after I completed my Makeup and Hairstyling certificate in Singapore so I decided to start with having my own lipstick and lashes line as I was facing difficulties to find the perfect shade of lipstick that I want or the shape of the lashes.

So I start looking here and their until I started my brand Glittair selling Lashes and lipsticks.

3.What inspired the brand name?

Our brand name is unique it is Glitt-air not Glitter

The name Glittair is a mix of Glitterati for glamorous and debonair for elegant.

4.What is the story behind the brand’s logo?

Our logo represents our area of business … as you can see there is a female inside the letter G and at the letter R you can see (lipstick, mascara, brush, eye pencil) .. by this logo any one sees it will understand that this brand is related to the beauty industry.

5. What makes your brand different from your competitors?

Glittair is a brand that lesson to our customers and their requirement for providing new products that suits them.

Glittair is also providing a high quality product with affordable prices, Also now Glittair is not only providing makeup, we provide Korean skincare from a big companies from South Korea. All the products prices are affordable.


6. What are the essential qualities that you look for in a franchisee?

We look into franchisee:

– dedicated
– try to make Glittair shop successful and growing
– has background in beauty industry
– well know of being a franchisee

7. How long does it take, on average, for your franchisee to realize their investment?

1 to 2 years depending on the location and the size of the unit (Stand, Kiosk, or Studio)

8. What was the major challenge you faced in your career, and how did you overcome it?

The major challenge at the beginning was how to pay the rent of the kiosk and salary of the employees.

I did overcome this by doing a lot of marketing and advertisement for Glittair.

8.1.What is your best achievement?

The best achievement is that Glittair started with only Lipstick and lashes and in 2019 we had a full makeup line for Glittair in 2020. My second achievement is start to work with big companies from South Korea to provide Skincare products.

9. How does your business day start?

In the store the worker start by cleaning the shelf and making sure of the inventory and start preparing the products to be displayed.

For the Online store we are checking the order and to fulfill all the order on time.

10. Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years?

A big brand name and well known .. also looking to be part of Sephora.

12. Any tips you want to impart to our readers who want to be in the franchise industry?

Follow your dream and look for the correct industry that you can do Franchise. because you need to have a passion in some industry so that you can do your best in.
