1976 – Louis le Duff launches his first bakery concept, Brioche Dorée, in Brest, Brittany, in northwestern France. 

1983 – The first la Madeleine restaurant opens on Mockingbird Lane, across from Southern Methodist University, in the heart of Dallas, Texas. 

Today – There are now over 80 la Madeleine locations, each with its own distinct personality. We pass down our recipes and the true French experience from generation to generation.
