The Hand & Stone Narrative

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa – At the core of their ethos lies a straightforward principle. By specializing in delivering massage services of the utmost quality at affordable rates, they aim to extend the tranquil marvel of the massage experience to a broader audience. This transformation turns a mere “massage or facial” into a unique category of products and services—an accessible luxury. It paves the way for you to embrace self-care, embodying the sentiment of “LOVE THYSELF” as frequently as your fatigued, tense, and stressed body and mind may require.

Challenging the notion that top-notch spa services are exclusively reserved for the affluent, Hand & Stone dispels this myth by catering its services to consumers across all levels. With over 550 spas across the United States and Canada, Hand & Stone, launched in 2004 by the passionate physical therapist John Marco and currently led by franchise expert John Teza, offers personalized massage, facial, and hair removal services.

Brand Philosophy

Their philosophy is uncomplicated yet unwavering: consistently provide the highest quality professional massage and facial services at affordable prices, seven days a week. Upon stepping into Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, guests are enveloped in soothing aromas and sounds, leaving behind the stress of deadlines and hectic schedules. Operating seven days a week with convenient hours, Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa offers deluxe experiences suitable for both spa novices and seasoned veterans. Our spas feature various treatment rooms, including private sanctuaries reserved for couples.

Name & Logo

The name Hand & Stone, conceived by the Founder’s son Nicholas Marco at the age of 14, symbolizes the tools employed in their signature service—the Hot Stone Massage. Their logo pays homage to indigenous healers, portraying a healing stone in the hands of our character, affectionately known as Stoney.
