Troy has more than 30 years of experience in senior executive positions in international franchising and business development working directly with and consulting for both franchisors and master franchisees across the various sectors of the franchise industry including F&B, retail, and services. Troy’s experience spans across more than 70 countries and multiple regions including extensive experience in the Asia Pacific Region and across the Indian Sub-Continent, Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. Since 2014 Troy has been a Partner & Director of World Franchise Associates (WFA). Since joining WFA Troy has been instrumental in helping WFA expand into the Asia Pacific Region and in guiding the company and launching new programs and initiatives. Troy has also played a key role in recruiting new clients and in supporting existing WFA clients with their international development initiatives worldwide. Troy has spoken at leading franchise expos and events internationally and his broad experience and exposure lend itself to his presentation topics which are founded on his real-world experience.
Ms Kathryna Manalo is the General Manager of the International Markets Group of Potato Corner. She brings with her 25 years’ experience in business development in the following verticals: Retail and Corporate Banking, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Solutions and International Franchising. Graduated from St. Scholastica’s College with a degree in Marketing. She pursued her studies earning an MBA from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and she is currently taking up another Master’s degree, Master in Entrepreneurship in the same institution. She is Certified Franchise Executive since 2020.
Under her leadership in her roles as international operations of Potato Corner, she opened Singapore as the brand’s international hub in the global market. Potato Corner has expanded its market presence in Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Canada – British Columbia and Alberta, Perth Australia, Winnipeg Canada and Auckland New Zealand.
Joe Manuszak, CFE is the Vice President of Global Development for the BELFOR Franchise Group.
Mr. Manuszak’s franchise and management experience proves global success in new market development, turnaround operations and start-up concepts.
He has focused the majority of his career on international franchising and licensing models, via his experience working/living in Australia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. He currently manages over 1,500 franchise locations in 56+ countries and has developed over 2K franchises.
Prior to working for BELFOR, Joe led the early development of Domino’s Pizza in America, Australia & Europe, in addition to Senior Leadership roles with YUM Brands in the U.S & Africa. Joe founded The Calverton Group, a consulting company that assists franchisees on development contracts and operational turnarounds.
